Graduate Fashion Week | Liberty
Liberty and Graduate Fashion Foundation invited BA Fashion or Textiles students from Graduate Fashion Week Member Universities in the UK and internationally to take part in a competition to celebrate individuality and the freedom of self-expression through fashion. Inspired by Liberty's Spring Summer 2026 collection, Floral Rebellion, students were encouraged to be rebellious and subvert the norm, recognising heritage through a different lens. The challenge was to create one full look using designs from the collection, specifically using Liberty’s signature fabric Tana Lawn™ cotton, containing at least 60% Liberty fabric.
From the initial submission, 40 students were shortlisted to receive their chosen Liberty fabric to make their full look. These looks were shown on the catwalk and within the exhibition at Graduate Fashion Week 2026, where 3 overall winners were selected by a judging panel of industry experts.
