Vinterior Curated by Liberty
A TWIST ON TIMELESS
An exclusive capsule collection created in partnership with Vinterior and Liberty
For Vinterior x Liberty, a careful selection of vintage finds have been reimagined with Liberty's designs to produce a five-piece collection of one-of-a-kind furniture items. This partnership brings together Vinterior’s dedication to sustainable style and Liberty’s pioneering design innovation, in a testament to long lasting design. United through thoughtful craftsmanship, these brands are partnered in a shared creative vision and appreciation for legacy.
Led by Liberty’s Head of Design – Home and Interiors, Genevieve Bennett, each item was carefully sourced from Vinterior, with Liberty’s fabric collections in mind. Pre-loved pieces that have been made to last, re-envisioned through a Liberty lens, using fabrics that continue to inspire and resonate. Each unique item is rooted in quality and conscious design.
“This partnership with Vinterior is a celebration of enduring design. We were naturally drawn to fabrics from our FuturLiberty, Botanical Atlas, and The House of Liberty collections, inspired by the same 1960s-1970s periods as the selected furniture pieces - each fabric felt perfectly aligned in history and aesthetic. Sculptural, curved silhouettes juxtapose dynamic geometrics, charming scenic landscapes, and bold textures. Bringing together our commitment to craftsmanship with Vinterior’s sustainable style, the collection offers pieces that feel both iconic and unmistakably contemporary.” says Genevieve Bennett, Head of Design - Home and Interiors, Liberty.
The collection includes a Cassina Maralunga 2-Seater Sofa, originally designed by Vico Magistretti for the Italian label Cassina. The renowned piece of Italian furniture has been reimagined using Liberty’s Shadow Stripe Weave in Amalfi. Together, the sofa and fabric merge luxury, softness, and engineering, without compromising on aesthetic.
Sitting alongside this, the iconic Alky chair designed by Giancarlo Piretti in 1969 and produced in Italy by Anonima Castelli. An original production from the early 1970s, the chair is a rare and highly collectible example of Italian modernist design brought to life by Liberty’s Zig Zag Velvet in Cetona from the FuturLiberty collection. Reworked from a Liberty archive design, the fabric evokes the vibrancy of jazz dance and features cut and uncut Jacquard velvet to create additional tones and textures.
Sourced from Vinterior’s exclusive archive, two Vico Magistretti C1960s Carimate Chairs will be available in Liberty’s Mount Stitch in Acacia, while the fabric Cravat in Scarab Lacquer is used across a 1960s Swedish Lamino Footstool Ottoman. Completing the collection is a Vintage Retro 1960s Beech Standard Lamp, the mid-century piece is paired with a bespoke Liberty lampshade in Ottoman Spot, an elegant cut-pile velvet inspired by a 19th century artwork reimagined for contemporary appeal.
The collection is available to shop on Vinterior.co. Prices starting from £900.
