This Milan Design Week 2026, British heritage design house, Liberty, and Milan-based furniture designer, Lorenza Bozzoli, will present Soft Architecture, a bold exploration of how textiles can move beyond surface decoration to become structural, experiential elements of design. The installation centers on a circular sofa composed entirely of cushions, seamlessly merging comfort, form, and architecture.
Drawing inspiration from Liberty’s 150-year archive and rich textile heritage, Soft Architecture reimagines pattern and print into more than a visual motif. Fabrics are elevated into sculptural forms, where every cushion, curve and fold creates an immersive architectural narrative. The installation sparks a dialogue between heritage and contemporary design - transforming textiles into a structured, tactile experience.
A selection of new products by Lorenza Bozzoli Couture will debut alongside the collaboration.
Opening times: 22-24 April, 11:00-17:00: Open by appointment.
