Description
The Botanical Atlas Weaves collection reimagines the magical wonders and vibrant colours of the natural world for interiors. Combining the renowned Liberty colour palette with playful geometrics and opulent textured plains, the Weaves are the perfect complement to the Botanical Atlas fabric collection. With reference to Sir Arthur Liberty’s explorations of Japan, China, Persia, and India during the 1880s-1910s, this curated series investigates the Liberty archive from the turn of the century.
Influenced by opera coats from the Liberty archive and antique Japanese kimono linings, the Botanical Atlas Weaves collection consists of six designs across five unique colour stories: Lacquer, Jade, Lapis, Pewter, and Lichen. From richly textured graphic weaves to soft plush sheens, this vibrant fabric collection is suitable for upholstery, drapery, cushions, and accessories.
Timeless and versatile, this classic vertical stripe design was inspired by textural grosgrain ribbons and a traditional Japanese Obi sash from an antique kimono. Constructed in compact, narrow widths and tonal colour gradations, Arlo Stripe creates a subtle ombre effect. Woven in Italy using beautiful yarns in four colourways, this luxurious fabric perfectly coordinates with the statement prints and embroideries from the fabric collection. Suitable for light domestic upholstery, drapery, cushions, and accessories.
