Meticulously hand-painted in the Liberty design studio, in the heart of London, and expertly crafted using both traditional and cutting-edge techniques in Italy and England. The wallpapers include scenic murals, opulent wide-width bases, and lustrous grass-cloths, full of luxurious textures and depth of colour.
Hand-drawn in pencil and painted in gouache, Shepherdly Bouquet is a new adaptation of the beloved classic Shepherdly Song. Created in the Liberty studio, the design takes inspiration from the vibrant blooms of the Tudor flagship store’s world-famous flower shop. Featuring distinct blossoming sprigs, this paisley-style botanical celebrates the rich diversity of wildflower meadows. The fine linework and five harmonious colour palettes bring each bloom to life within a spacious, balanced composition. Crafted by layering pigments of colour to create an enhanced sense of depth, the paper absorbs the pigment, generating a sense of movement across the surface of the design.
