Description
FuturLiberty is an exploration of the unexpected in the Liberty archive, resulting in a reinvention of Liberty Fabrics – inspired by, and celebrating the artistic movements of Futurism, Vorticism and a century of avant-garde.
In collaboration with expert textile mills in Italy, Belgium, and India, the subtle textures and details from the artwork have been carefully translated into a beautiful array of woven, embroidered, and printed fabrics. From surprising geometrics, lively abstractions, and rhythmic lines, this innovative Interiors collection combines the designer’s artistic sensibilities with expert craftsmanship.
Meticulously hand-painted in the Liberty Design Studio, in the heart of London, and expertly crafted in Italy, Belgium, and India.
Originally designed by Bernard Nevill for the 1965 Liberty Jazz collection, Trepak Embroidery has been reimagined into a playful three-dimensional, decorative embroidery offered in Summer and Piccadilly colourways. Ideal for drapery and decorative accessories, such as cushions.
