Meticulously hand-painted in the Liberty design studio, in the heart of London, and expertly crafted using both traditional and cutting-edge techniques in Italy and England. The wallpapers include scenic murals, opulent wide-width bases, and lustrous grass-cloths, full of luxurious textures and depth of colour.
Based on a Liberty print impression from the 1910s, this bold and minimal design reduces organic forms to geometric abstractions. A single four-leaf clover is observed through the prism of stylisation – purified and distilled to discover its structural essence. Printed in England in two colourways on a pressed fibre paper using a conventional roller printing, the result is suggestive of a botanical blueprint enriched with mottled textures and subtle tonalities.
